Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to heads of regions to carry out walkabout of every homestead

On 19 June at a meeting with law enforcement bodies the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was informed about the operational situation with fires as the day before seven people, including four children died in fire in Tukay region of the republic. 

Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to heads of regions to step up fire prevention work, in particular to carry out walkabout of every homestead and explain their residents necessity of following fire safety regulations. 

He said to pay special attention to families with many children and to carry out systemic preventive conversations, monitoring every family. 

The Rais of the republic also stated that all necessary services such as the Emergencies Ministry, social services and volunteers must be involved in this activity.
