Tatarstan ranks second in the National investments climate ranking

On 16 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a presentation of the National investments climate ranking ofRussian entities, where the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva, who made the presentation at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, informed that Tatarstan ranks second after Moscow in this ranking.
The National ranking gives assessment to efforts of regional powers for creating favourable conditions for doing business and finds the best practices. Svetlana Chupsheva said that the number of parameters taken into consideration when compiling the ranking was increased in 2022 and now consists of 67 of them. She said that only two regions exceeded the bar on 300 points, namely Moscow and Tatarstan. The Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, who also took part in the presentation, stated that the republic ranks second for the fifth year in the row already.
He emphasized that Tatarstan is actively developing industrial parks and special economic zones and informed that today the forum will discuss the brand “Made in Russia”. "Well, the brand “Made in Tatarstan” is already working,” he concluded.
