Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of Economy of the UAE Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri

On 16 June at his meeting with the Minister of Economy of the UAE Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that at its level Tatarstan actively facilitates strengthening of Russia-Emirates relations, and the trade turnover between the United Arab Emirates and Tatarstan is growing, having reached 71m dollars in 2022.
Speaking to the Minister he said: “I am happy to have another meeting with you. Please, pass my words of thanks to the government of the United Arab Emirates for constant attention to cooperation with Tatarstan within the Russia-Emirates relations.” 
The parties discussed the KazanForum held by the republic in May of the current year with a substantial delegation from the UAE taking part in it, and Rustam Minnikhanov invited a delegation from the UAE to take part in the KazanForum-2024.
In his turn the Minister thanked for the meeting and reminded that it was his fourth meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov already. 
“As for the KazanForum, I will do my best for my team to visit it”, the UAE Minister of Economy promised.

In particular he also stated that he is ready to increase the number of flights from the UAE to Tatarstan and work in the sphere of development of Halal industry (finances).
