Rustam Minnikhanov meets Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister on the sidelines of the SPIEF-23

On 15 June at his meeting with the Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev on the sidelines of the SPIEF-23 the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “I would like to express you appreciation for special attention attached to development of our interaction aimed at strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Russia.” 

He said that last year Tatarstan-Uzbekistan trade turnover exceeded 290m dollars, having shown the growth of 50 per cent. 
Rustam Minnikhanov also mentioned a number of large joined projects such as the Special Economic Zones of Chirchik and Dzhizak and opening of the branch of Kazan Federal University in Dzhizak being implemented in the last few years.

In his turn Jamshid Khodjayev informed: “After our last trip to Tatarstan the President of our country wanted to know in detail how the visit passed. I reported him which spheres we have started the work on.”
