On the sidelines of the SPIEF, Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt

On June 15, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt Ahmed Samir.

“I am sincerely glad to meet you. Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite you to Tatarstan to get acquainted with our industrial and economic potential,” Rustam Minnikhanov greeted the Minister.

Cooperation between Tatarstan and Egypt under Russian-Egyptian relations has a long history. Last year, foreign trade turnover amounted to 26 million US dollars. Long-term cooperation has been established with a number of industrial enterprises in the automotive and aircraft industries. “Thank you for your time, for the invitation. Russia is our reliable partner, we are actively working in a number of areas. And we are ready to actively cooperate with the regions,” Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry said.
