On June 15, at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov disscussed issues of strengthening interregional cooperation. They noted that the volume of mutual trade is about 1.5 billion roubles. Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that it is important to work out new areas of cooperation in order not to reduce the momentum.
