On 15 June at his meeting with the Head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for attention paid to strengthening interaction with Tatarstan. He reminded that he visited Tuva in 2016 and Vladislav Khovalyg came to Tatarstan in autumn 2022 when they signed an agreement on cooperation between their republics.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that toady there is a great interest to ramping up interaction and trade turnover with Tuva. In particular, Tatarstan can deliver machine-building, agricultural and high tech products, he said.
He said that one of important spheres for cooperation is digitalization and invited a delegation from Tuva to take part in the International Digital Forum Kazan Digital week planned to be held in the coming September.
The Rais of Tatarstan said he was sure that by joining forces both regions will be able to ramp up mutually beneficial cooperation.
Russian Minister of Construction and Housing Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin also took part in the meeting, in the end of which Rustam Minnikhanov and Vladislav Khovalyg signed the Action Plan on implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation between Tatarstan and Tuva.
