On 15 June on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of Stavropol region Vladimir Vladimirov signed an agreement on cooperation between the republic and region.
Speaking at the meeting before the procedure, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the trade turnover between two regions makes about 3.5bn rubles with Tatarstan supplying to Stavropol trucks, petrochemical products and tyres and importing medications, fertilizers and mineral water from Stavropol.
He said that the republic is ready to expand cooperation in particular in such spheres as machine-building and procurement of refrigerating and medical equipment and also stated the importance of humanitarian relations.
“In our republic we have an e-trade platform ZAKAZ.RF and we propose you to study and use this experience,” he concluded.
