Roman Shaykhutdinov informs Valeriy Falkov about results of work of the Innopolis University

On 8 June at the exhibition held on the sidelines of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future”, which is held in Kazan from 7 to 11 June with participation of ministers of Education from more than 20 foreign countries and representatives from regions of Russia, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov told Russian Minister of Education and Science Valeriy Falkov about educational and project work of the Innopolis University.

In particular he informed about implementation by the University of such socially important projects as the advanced engineering school aimed at training highly qualified IT-engineers, the federal AI Research Center  which carries out work in the sphere of fuel and energy sphere safety, medical diagnostics and transport maintenance, the Basic Educational Center for improvement of digital skills of university and college teachers and digital departments where students obtain additional qualification in IT-sphere.

He attracted special attention of the Russian Minister to the project of the Digital Educational Content developed by the Innopolis University, which is the educont.ru online-platform with the free access of schoolchildren to the digital educational materials. Roman Shaykhutdinov informed that in 2022 more than 2 million schoolchildren and 300 thousand teachers passed free educational courses from Uchi.ru, SkyEng, Foxford and other commercial companies.

He also told about results of work of the university in sports programming, in particular about holding the finals of the international school Olympics Innopolis Open in informatics with participation of 283 schoolchildren from 12 countries of the world and the All-Russia school Olympics in informatics in 2023.
