Rustam Minnikhanov looks round the exhibition of Islamic relics in Bolgar

On 21 May during his working trip to the Ancient City of Bolgar, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Shaykhraziev, who is the Chairman of the Milli Shura National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, the Mufti of Russia Ravil Gaynutdin and the Mufti of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia Albir Krganov looked round an exhibition of original relics of Prophet Mohammed held in the Memorial Sing from 19 to 23 May and dedicated to the ceremonial celebrations of the Day of official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. 

The exposition shows valuable exhibits which once belonged to Prophet Mohammed, members of his family and his followers, such as a hair, sword and chalice of the Prophet, a pitcher of his wife Aisha, a pitcher and a hand mill of his daughter Fatima, the black stone of Kaaba and other relics brought from various Islamic centers of the world including the Saudi Arabia and Dagestan. 

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Mufti of Dagestan and stated the originality and special value of the exhibition.
