Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Iranian First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alireza Peyman-Pak

On 19-May at their meeting on the sidelines of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Iranian First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alireza Peyman-Pak discussed issues of interaction, strengthening of business and partnership ties in industry, agriculture and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan attaches great attention to the development of cooperation with Iran within the Russia-Iran relations, as under modern conditions cooperation of our countries becomes especially valuable and important.

He emphasized that the republic as a Russian region has well established dialogue both with Tehran and many other Iranian provinces. He informed that in September last year he visited Tehran and Golestan and East Azerbaijan provinces where he discussed a wide range of issues of Tatarstan-Iran cooperation.

In conclusion Rustam Minnikahnov said: “There is a great potential for our trade and economic cooperation. We think that Iranian business should consider Tatarstan as a beneficial and promising partner.”
