Rustam Minnikhanov meets the administration of the Business Lines Group of Companies and the “Romex GROUP” group of companies

On 16 May at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Director General of the “Business Lines” group of companies Farid Madani and the President of the “Romex GROUP” group of companies Aleksey Prokopenko discussed issues of further cooperation with the Romex Group and implementation of a number of joint projects.

In particular, Farid Madani expressed the interest of his company to develop regional presence in Tatarstan. The Business Lines , established in 2001 in St Petersburg, is one of the leading transport and logistics operators of Russia, the Romex Group of companies is an investments and construction holding, comprising more than 80 companies, with main spheres of business being investments and real estate management  and operation.

Rustam Minnikhanov informed that development of logistics and cargo transportation are priorities for Tatarstan and modernization of the road and transport infrastructure is the inseparable factor of the dynamic development of the republic.

He also told about socially important projects under implementation in the transport sphere, such as construction of M-12 and M7 highways, which gives new possibilities for the republic such as the growth of freight turnover and tourist flow as well as providing mobility to the labour force.

“We actively use all tools aimed at supporting investors and attracting investments. The Romex Group of companies already has an experience of building wholesale distribution centers of Tatarstan. Under the existing circumstances, establishment of logistics complexes is justified and economically sound,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

“As far as development of logistics and cargo transportation are concerned, this sphere in one of priorities for Tatarstan. From our end we are interested in further close cooperation both in projects under implementation and in new ideas,” he concluded
