Rustam Minnikhanov about KazanForum: Our task is to hold all events at the highest organizational level

On 13 May, speaking at a regional meeting held with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the forthcoming events of the KazanForum must be held at the highest organizational level.

“Next week there will be many guests both from abroad and various regions of Russia. Many sessions are planned and the meeting of the Strategic Vision Group Russia-Islamic world will be held on 19 May. We are expecting many participants to the All-Russia forum of Tatar religious leaders on 20 May, and on 21 May we are attending the Izge Bolgar Djienny dedicated to the Day of official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He emphasized that the most serious attention should be attached to security provision with a huge load falling on law-enforcement bodies and the Emergencies Ministry. The vital services especially in Kazan will also follow enhanced work mode, the Rais said and concluded: “It is necessary to ensure well-coordinated work of tourism, hospitality and transport facilities.”
