On 13 May, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that1.411m square meters of housing has been commissioned in the republic, which makes 45.5% of the planned.

He also reported about implementation of construction programmes of social and cultural facilities, modernization of communal infrastructure and improvement, as well as the rates of completion of programmes in the spheres of education, healthcare, culture and environmental protection, four of which are the part of the Ecology national project.

Marat Ayzatullin also told about restoration of war graves in 6 municipalities of the republic by the state programme of Perpetuation of the Memory of Fallen Defenders of the Motherland and construction of sports facilities.

Speaking about modernization of engineering networks, Marat Ayzatullin informed about laying and replacing gas supply and water main pipelines, restoration of street lighting and modernization and capital overhaul of sewage and treatment plants.

He also said that the Ministry carries on a continuous monitoring of work done by municipalities in the State Information System for Provision of the city-building activity, using two main parameters, namely the user engagement and the work quality.
