In the UAE Rustam Minnikhanov has told about Tatarstan investment potential and invited everyone to visit the KazanForum

On 8 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as the Guest of Honor took part in a ceremony of opening the12th Annual Investment Forum AIM Global 2023 in Abu Dhabi and as an international expert made a speech at a plenary session “The World Leaders Debates”, which this year was dedicated to the changes of the investments paradigm. Prior to the session he walked round the exhibition exposition of the investment forum. 

Speaking at the plenary session, Rustam Minnikhanov greeted participants and guests of the forum and expressed his gratitude to the administration of the United Arab Emirates for organizing the event and providing him the possibility to deliver a speech. He said that Tatarstan is a partner and participant of the Forum since it was established in 2011. “For us the Forum is a perfect platform for presenting investments possibilities of our republic, exchanging experience with foreign partners and establishing new contacts. Today we are going to listen to interesting discussions and expert view points on a very important topic of changes of the investments paradigm. It is a very burning issue, taking into consideration complicated geopolitical situation and serious shifts in world economy,” he said.

In his speech Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that modern Tatarstan is one of the leading industrially developed, scientific educational and innovative regions of Russia with the big investments potential. He informed that the republic has powerful investments and innovative infrastructure, many platforms of different levels and purpose, such as special economic zones, advanced social and economic development territories, technical parks, industrial parks and zones, business incubators and technopolises.

He told about tax, customs and commercial preferences offered to investors as well as providing them with highly qualified specialists, powerful raw materials basis, comfortable infrastructure and broad commercial ties with other regions of Russia and foreign countries. Due to all this for many years in the row Tatarstan is one of the leaders of the national ranking of the country’s investment climate, he said

Rustam Minnikhanov paid special attention to the fact that for many years Tatarstan and Russian have been successfully interacting with the Islamic world and told about the annual International economic Forum KazanForum which will be held for the 14th time in Kazan in May and which is the most important platform for interaction. The business programme of the forum comprises more than 100 business sessions with participation of more than 750 speakers from various foreign and Russian regions, he said. 

“I invite all those present here to Russia, to Kazan, to the KazanForum! Our republic is always open for partnership and interested in innovations. I invite all of you to Tatarstan so that you can see our experience and potential with your own eyes,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
