Rustam Minnikhanov hands in a certificate for 28 forest patrol vehicle for the Tatarstan Ministry of Forestry

On 2 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of handing in 28 certificates for LADA Niva legend forest patrol vehicles to the regional Ministry of Forestry held in Kazan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Forest is our treasure and it should be treated so that it is preserved. The programmes being implemented in the republic are aimed at support of the Ministry of Forestry”.

He reminded that the vehicles were purchased by the federal programme and thanked the Russian Ministry of Nature and Ecology, having added that modern vehicles handed in to foresters are important for their efficient work as this will give them possibility to preserve and multiply our forests.

Rustam Minnikhanov also thanked employees of the forestry sphere for their work and said: “We are proud of our forestry workers and I wish you further thriving for the good of our republic.”
