Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the opening ceremony of the countdown stela "300 days before the start of the Games of the Future tournament"

On April 29, in the centre of Kazan, on the site in front of the Bashir Rameev IT Park, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Digitalization Maksut Shadaev and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the opening ceremony of the countdown stela to tick down 300 days left before the start of the International multi-sport tournament "Games of the Future" in 2024. The event was organized in the Moscow-Kazan teleconference mode with participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.

“We are sincerely grateful to the leadership of our country for the trust placed in Tatarstan. I can assure you that we have sufficient experience and desire for this. We will host the Games of the Future worthy to be remembered. We will do our best for this. Kazan is ready for the Games! Thank you very much!” Minnikhanov said in his welcoming speech.

Chernyshenko also said "Kazan is truly the cybercapital of Russia". He emphasized that there is a huge interest in the Games of the Future both from athletes and spectators from all over the world, more than 50 countries have already expressed their desire to participate in the competitions.
