Russian and Tatarstan state awards have been handed in at the Kazan Kremlin

On 27 April in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in Russian and Tatarstan state awards to more than 50 outstanding workers of the republic.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “I am sincerely happy to welcome outstanding Tatar residents in the Kazan Kremlin on the eve of the 1 May Day and the Day of the Victory and to hand in well-deserved awards to them. We can see here representatives of industrial enterprises, cultural, medical and educational organizations, homefront workers and old-stagers. Your achievements serve to development of Tatarstan and make a great contribution into the successful future of our country. We are proud of you!”

Having mentioned special achievements and merits of social, medical, cultural, agricultural and oil workers, he said: “Your achievements are a result of longstanding dedicated work and I am sure your deserved awards will be an impetus for new feats for the sake of the republic and Russia. I want to congratulate you with your state awards and thank you for your work and loyalty to profession and wish good health, new successes and achievements.”
