Rustam Minnikhanov has a look at the construction of a bridge across the Kama River which is a part on the M-7 Volga highway construction

On 19 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came to the Village of Kotlovka of Nizhnekamsk region of the republic to have a look at the construction of a bridge across the Kama, which is a part of the large project of the highway M7-Volga, starting from Moscow to Ufa and which is detour of Naberezhnyye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk.

The main aim of the highway including the 1300m bridge is to detour transit vehicles from Western regions of Russia going to Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnyye Chelny and farther to Ufa and to decrease the traffic on highway M-7 on the Yelabuga - Naberezhnyye Chelny section.
