Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a strategic session on advanced infrastructure development

On April 18, during his working visit to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is the Chairman of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction «Construction, housing, utility services and urban environment» took part in the strategic session on advanced infrastructure development chaired by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

During the session, Mishustin said: “In order to ensure comprehensive and long-term planning, a five-year program for the construction of transport, utility and social infrastructure facilities with the involvement of budget funds has been approved, which includes over 6.5 thousand facilities for a total amount of more than 4.5 trillion roubles”. He emphasized that one of the key tasks outlined by the President of Russia is the creation of comfortable living conditions for our citizens all over the country.

The construction industry is actively developing, despite the restrictions pressure and other external factors. Over the past three years, the volume of work has increased by almost 15 percent. In 2022, record rates of housing commissioning were achieved. As a result, over 3.5 million families were able to improve their living conditions.

It is also necessary to strengthen the human resources of the construction industry and to create a new generation of young professionals. It will be difficult to develop and master new technologies without qualified specialists,” Russian Prime Minister said.

According to him, another priority is to reduce logistics costs and ease of movement of people. For this purpose, it is necessary to ensure the accelerated development of the road network, especially the backbones, which will reliably connect the territory of our large country.
