Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture: Tatarstan will allocate 37bn rubles on spring sowing campaign

On 11 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Agriculture Marat Zyabbarov informed that this year Tatarstan will allocate 37bn rubles on spring sowing campaign.

“Thus 14.3bn rubles will be allocated on fertilizers, 3.4bn – on purchasing seeds, 5.4bn on pesticides and 6.5bn on fuel and lubricants. Other expenses will amount to 7.7bn rubles”, Marat Zyabbarov explained.

He stated that the Ministry has already allocated 3.6bn rubles of state support to farms and continues to select requests to get budget support.

The Minister also said that the traditional agricultural fairs started on 18 March this year and at the four of them framers sold 676.6 tonnes of vegetables, including 407.4 tonnes of potatoes, 70.6 tonnes of milk and 239.6 tonnes of meat for the total sum of  253.5m rubles.
