Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chief Rabbi of Kazan and Tatarstan Yitzhak Gorelik

On 14 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chief Rabbi of Kazan and Tatarstan Yitzhak Gorelik discussed issues of interaction in strengthening inter-religious and inter-ethnic relations in the republic.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Kazan Jewish religious community carries out active social work and upbringing of the growing generation.

He also congratulated Yitzhak Gorelik with his birthday and handed him in a Tatarstan medal “For Valorous Labour “ for his contribution into the development of spiritual and moral values and strengthening inter-confessional peace and concord.
