Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: more than 1m square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan

On 4 March at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov by video conference with all municipalities of the republic and with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and the First regional Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatulln, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that the yearly plan of housing construction has been fulfilled by 33 per cent with 1m 28 000 square meters already commissioned in the republic.

He also reported about implementation of programmes of housing construction, national projects and state and regional programmes, in addition telling about work in preventing accidents and occupational health and safety. Marat Ayzatullin said that in addition to regular checks by the Inspectorate of State Construction Supervision of the republic, another efficient tool for stepping up work safety is the regional competition of the best organization of labour safety in construction of Tatarstan, which has been held since 2004.

The Minister also reported about implementation of federal programs the Housing and City Environment, the Clear Water, Ecology, Culture and Demography.
