On 15 February at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the PAO Rosseti Andrey Ryumin discussed working out joint proposals on improvement of regulatory acts in electrical energy industry, including those aimed at increasing reliability and affordability of electricity supply.
They also considered main spheres of cooperation for ensuring technological sovereignty of the power industry and stressed the significant role of Tatarstan enterprises supplying modern equipment for construction and maintenance of grid facilities, special equipment and solutions in automation, cables and steelwork.
Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Tatarstan is one of the leading and industrially developed regions of Russia. We have one the largest energy systems of the country. Our Grid Company and the PAO Rosseti have already a well-established interaction in sharing technological information, acquiring equipment and emergency stock, improvement of mechanisms for prevention and mitigation of emergency consequences. Today under the sanctions the import replacement of the grid equipment and technologies has become a priority in the power industry. Tatarstan has competences in production of electro-technical products and equipment for electricity generation. Now it is important for us to establish a mutually beneficial cooperation to replace import by our own products”.
In his turn Andrey Ryumin said: “We are interested in cooperation with Tatarstan and development of joint proposals for developing the grid complex. Provision of technological sovereignty of the power industry is also an important task. The republic has a large number of enterprises manufacturing high tech products for the power industry. The administration of the region attaches great attention to the development of the industrial sector which stimulates the growth of industries”.
In the end of the meeting the PAO Rosseti and the Tatarstan Grid Company signed an agreement on interaction.
