On 13 February at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov discussed issues of strengthening the inter-regional cooperation.
Murat Kumpilov came to Kazan as the head of a delegation from Adygea, which visited the Kama Industrial Park Master and the Special Economic Zone of Alabuga.
Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude for strengthening bilateral relationa. He said he is sure Tatarstan and Adygea can use their rich potential for development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
He said that even though the trade over volume is not significant today, Tatarstan is interested in developing cooperation in machine and auto building, supplying car tires, refrigerators and medical equipment as well as consumers’ goods and food products manufactured in the republic and is interested in cooperation in informatization and top technologies.
As far as already working deliveries are concerned, Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned passenger cars and trucks, buses, food products and medical equipment supplied from Tatarstan and cheese, fish and fish products and mineral water coming to the republic from Adygea.
Having briefly informed about main industries and innovative infrastructure of Tatarstan, the Rais of the republic said: “We are always ready to exchange experience in supporting entrepreneurship and training specialists for branches of economy. We are also ready to share our experience in digitalization.” He also told about the regional marketing center-for import replacement and proposed to assign a person from Adygea who will be responsible for interaction in this issue.
Rustam Minnikhanov invited representatives of Adygea to take part in the International Economic Forum KazanSummit to be held in Kazan in the coming May.
At the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov also expressed his gratitude to the administration of Adygea for support given to Tatar public organizations, as there are more than 2 500 Tatars living in Adygea.
