Rustam Minnikhanov visits mosque and Centre of Tatar culture in Tyumen

On August 3 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev visited the Cathedral Mosque and Centre of Tatar culture in Tyumen.

The Cathedral Mosque is located in Tatar village Yanaul. Construction of the building was carried out for 8 years and finished in 1997. There is also a residence of the Head of Muslim Spiritual Board of Tyumen region situated in the building.

Accompanied by imam, Rustam Minnikhanov and Vladimir Yakushev looked around the mosque.

Tatarstan President also visited the Centre of Tatar culture. This municipal institution in located in a historical mansion of a merchant Filimon Kolmogorov, the architectural monument.

Rustam Minnikhanov and Vladimir Yakushev were met by folk songs. They looked around the exhibition of household items of Siberian Tatars. Tatarstan President highly estimated the Centre of Tatar culture.
