On January 25, on the Day of Russian students, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Kazan Federal University, looked around the Digital Transformation Centre and talked to students. Accompanied by the rector of the university Lenar Safin, Tatarstan President got acquainted with the scientific projects of students in medicine, biotechnology, lexicology and the production of drones, evaluated the start-up projects implemented in the university, and also spoke with representatives of volunteer movements and students.
Minnikhanov visited the Digital Transformation Centre, which implements projects in microelectronics and robotics, develops "cloud" solutions and implements educational programmes in digital transformation. In particular, Minnikhanov was presented an unmanned tractor based on Belarus-152, a joint project of Kazan Federal University and Minsk Tractor Plant. Tatarstan President also visited an open lesson of the Tatar language for foreign students. Opening the meeting with the students of Kazan Federal University, Minnikhanov congratulated the students on the traditional student holiday - Tatyana's Day.
