On 26 December at Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Tatneftekhiminvest holding Board of Directors, which discussed a number of investment projects.
Thus the Director General of the Elastomeric materials and products research institute from Moscow Dmitriy Reznichenko reported about new materials developed for aircraft and space techniques, nuclear industry and sleeves for radio-electronics cooling.
“This issue is very important for technological safety and a good business” Rustam Minnikhanov said and proposed to set up cooperation with Tatarstan ship-, aircraft- and auto-building plants.
Director of the Enikolopov Institute of Synthetic Polymeric Materials Sergey Ponomarenko said that the institute is looking for investments of 50-100m roubles to start pilot production of thermally-resistant polymers in 2025. He said that the polyimides can be used for production of flexible solar batteries, aerospace, electric and microelectronic devices. Rustam Minnikhanov recommended the Tatneft Oil Company and Kazan Federal University to take part in this project.
After Professor from the Kazan Chemical-Technological University Timur Deberdeyev gave a justified explanation to revival of cultivating and processing technical hemp in Russia, Tatarstan President promised to support the project. “It is in great demand with the Kazan Gunpowder Plant and we can reach large production volumes as this is a strategic material for defense industry. We need to study issues of technic and seed stock,” he said.
The Operations Director of the ITERRA-IT (Tula) Sergey Redko told that after such companies as SAP, Оracle and Microsoft left Russia, the company developed the replacement of foreign ERP-systems for solving production tasks, which make it possible to increase productivity, avoid foozle and make the production process transparent.
The Board also approved the list of hydrocarbon raw materials and petrochemical products to be supplied to Tatarstan SMEs in 2022. Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin said: “Even though there was some shortage, the 2022 programme has been fulfilled successfully”.
Speaking at the meeting, the President of the Russian Union of Oil and Gas Producers Gennadiy Shmal proposed to look for new sales markets outside Asia. “Despite hard times our oil and gas complex is not dead and this year the oil workers are going to produce 539m tonnes of oil which is even more than in the last year.”
