On 24 December, speaking at a videoconference meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin at the Government house with all municipalities of the republic, regional First Deputy Minister of Land and Property Relations Artur Galiyve reported about the progress of allocating land plots to families with many children.

He said that 48 470 families out of 71 340 from the waiting list have been cadastrally registered and about 45 thousand of them (that is 67.42%) have been already allocated land plots.

Artur Galiyev listed municipalities, in particular Bugulma, Leninogorsk, Almetyevsk, Kukmor and others, where less than 80 per cent of the families got their land plots.

In a number of municipalities, in particular in Kazan and Naberezhnuue Chelny, there is a problem of allocating the land plots caused by their shortage and sometimes construction pace on the already allocated plots is very slow, Artur Galiyev said.
