Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a regular meeting of the Tatarstan State Council

On 23 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the 39th meeting of the State Council of the republic of sixth convocation held by the Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin.

Speaking at the meeting about the Law “On common principles of organizing public power in entities of the Russian Federation”, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “.The fact that for two terms we could elect the President of the republic shows the attitude of the federal center to Tatarstan. But I think that the new structure makes it possible for us to move ahead. Tatarstan is one of the leading regions of the country in economy, social and economic development and other spheres. Today we are taking part in all federal projects and have perfect relations with the administration of the country and its government. The special military operation is going on today. We all can see how the world community is trying to split Russia. We must not allow them think that our country is disunited and falling apart. This should never happen! Today Russia stands not only against Ukrainian Neo-Nazis but also the whole military machine of the collective West. Quite different territories and people are pursuing their interests. That is why it is so important to preserve integrity and unity of our state”.
