Rustam Minnikhanov meets Governor of Kirov region Aleksandr Sokolov

On 16 December, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Kirov region Aleksandr Sokolov in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic and the region are have common economic, humanitarian and cultural interests, He informed that inter-regional trade turnover in the last years reached 6 bn roubles, with Tatarstan esporting trucks, tyres, petrochemicals, synthetic rubber, fertilizers, glass and wide range of food products, while Kirov region supplies timber, power cables, concrete products, footwear and specialized  to Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that dozens of enterprises of the republic develop industrial cooperation and trade relations with partners from the region. 

The parties of the meeting discussed prospects of further development of cooperation both in trade-economic and humanitarian spheres and in the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov handed in Aleksandr Sokolov a medal dedicated to “100th anniversary of establishment of TASSR”.
