Tatarstan President takes part in a regular meeting of the State Council of the republic

On 15 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 38th meeting of the State Council of the sixth convocation of the republic held by the Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin with participation of the members of the regional government and invited persons.

The agenda of the meeting included 14 issues including six regional draft laws, the number of which increased to 18 after discussion.

Thus, representing the legislative initiative in improvement of legal regulations of the alcohol market, Deputy Chairman of the Committee in Legitimacy and Public Order Aleksandr Chubarov said that last year the law enforcement bodies of the republic revealed 122 crimes and more than 1 thousand administrative law violations in the illegal alcohol market. The draft law proposed to introduce responsibility of physical entities with the exception of officials and entrepreneurs, working without legal entity for retail sales of ethyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol containing non-food products.

The members of the council also approved the regional draft law “On amendments to the Tatarstan law “On provision of access to information about work of Tatarstan State bodies and local self-government bodies, which was presented by regional Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin and which is aimed at increasing the transparency of functioning of various state and local self-government bodies.

The members of the Council also approved the draft law on regional state control of technical condition and operation of amusement rides in the republic.
