Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of the international organization of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) Taha Ayhan

On 15 December at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the international organization of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) Taha Ayhan discussed issues of strengthening cooperation and further establishment of business contacts within the OIC framework. The parties emphasized that cooperation of the youth is an important constituent of strengthening the international interaction.

Regional Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleyeva and Minister for Youth Affairs of the republic Timur Suleymanov also took part in the meeting from Tatarstan.

Kazan was chosen the OIC Youth Capital 2022 and it was for the first time such status was given to the city from the country-observer of the OIC.

On 15 December Kazan hosted the closing ceremony of the Kazan OIC Youth Capital 2022 events.
