Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

On December 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Kazakhstan to take part in the event of the production of the first tire at the KamaTyresKZ, had a meeting with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Trade turnover demonstrates efficiency of active joint work. According to the results of last year, the trade between Tatarstan and the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 629 million dollars. For nine months of 2022, an increase of 5.8 per cent was recorded. Tokayev emphasized the importance of further strengthening the mutual partnership and said that he would continue to support such joint projects.

The plant plans to reach full project capacity next year. The company will annually produce 3.5 million tires for cars and trucks. The plant will create 1.1 thousand jobs, the volume of investment is 400 million dollars.
