Famous economist Aleksandr Auzan gives a lecture in the Government House of Tatarstan

On 10 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a lecture given by the Dean of the Department of Economics of the Moscow State University, Professor Aleksand Auzan in the Government House of the republic. .

Speaking at the lecture, the topic of which was “Human capital and economic development: cultural codes of economics”, Aleksandr Auzan told about new characteristics of the human capital, stated that there is a stable connection between cultural values and  the GDP per capita (interaction of culture, economy and political relations), and shoed how culture can influence the competitive advantages of the nation such as the aptitude to entrepreneurship, innovations, mobilization methods of economy. 

The speaker covered the specificity and characteristic peculiarities of the country and Tatarstan, analyzed the regional level and development strategies which could be rooted in the particular nature of the regional culture.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the expert for his time and attention given to Tatarstan and stated the importance of the deliberate scientific approaches to solving the economic development issues.
