Rustam Minnikhanov has held a meeting of the operational headquarters on implementation of measures envisaged by the Russian President’s decree

On 21 October Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held the first meeting of an operational headquarters on implementation of measures envisaged by the Russian President’s decree, which ordered heads of regions to organize such headquarters in their regions and undertake a personal control over safety provision issues.

Rustam Minnikhanov became the head of the headquarters while regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Head of the President’s Office Asgat Safarov were appointed as his deputies. Heads of regional ministries and departments as well as heads of the territorial bodies of the federal executive power also became members of the headquarters.

The meeting discussed issues of providing public order and uninterrupted operation of life-sustaining facilities such as transport, power supply and utilities structure.
