Rustam Minnikhanov has visited a new park in Salavat Kupere neighbourhood

On 21 October Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new park in the Salavat Kupere neighbourhood of Kazan which underwent land improvement by the national project of Housing and Urban Environment and covers more than 6 hectares.

Currently there are nearly 30 000 residents living in the neighbourhood but till present it did not have any special place for family recreation. 

The improvement work included such amenities as “play and sports” zone, a fountain, promenade, swings and sightseeing platforms and an open air theatre.

Having walked around the park, Rustam Minnikhanov talked to the neighbourhood residents and was told about the work of green houses where park visitors will have plant growing master classes. 

He also looked round the dog run and took part in planting trees.
