Rustam Minnikhanov has visited renovated boiler plant “Azino”

On 17 October Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Director General of the Tatenergo Power Generating Company Rauzil Khaziyev visited the boiler plant “Azino” which was launched in 1987 for heat supply of Azino district of Kazan. Due to further growth of heat load the second boiler was commissioned in 1994 and in 2022 the plant is commissioning the third boiler.

Rauzil Khaziyev informed the Tatarstan President that the current modernization increased the heat capacity by 100 Gcal-hr , providing heat supply to about 3.6m sq. meters of housing for 140 000 residents. In addition it makes it possible to connect additional 1.1m sq. meters of housing for 50 000 residents to heat supply.

For centralized monitoring, control and safe operation the boilers, reserve fuel facilities, electro technical and backup machinery are equipped with modern full scale automated system of technological processes control.
