Rustam Minnikhnanov in Naberezhnyye Chelny: The republic has about 3 500 machine building enterprises which employ nearly 138 thousand people

On 1 October, speaking at a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Day of Machine-building Workers held in Naberezhnyye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that by the results of the eight months of 2022 the industrial production index in machine building made 103 per cent and the amount of shipped products exceeded 500bn roubles in the republic.

Having reminded about an important event which happened on 30 September - namely, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhe and Herson joining Russia, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Yesterday in his address Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the importance of sovereignty and protection of territorial integrity of the country, following principles of justice and equality in international relations and commitment to traditional values in public development of the country”.

“Today our industrial enterprises are facing an important task of establishing a contact with new regions and building necessary cooperation chains with them. They are all industrial regions with developed metallurgy, machine-building and a number of other branches and it is our common duty to provide comprehensive support to new regions”, he said.

Tatarstan President stated that despite all challenges and difficulties “our machine-builders decently solve set up tasks, implementing new developments and mastering manufacture of high-tech products. As a result in the eight months of 2022 the industrial production index in machine building made 103 per cent and the amount of shipped products exceeded 500bn roubles in the republic”.

After having congratulated all workers of the local machine-building complex with their professional holiday and wishing them new achievements, fruitful work and good health, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of the republic to the best employees of the branch.

Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, who also took part in the event, congratulated everyone with the Day of Machine-building Workers and handed in awards of the Russian Ministry.
