A trilateral agreement among Tatarstan Ministry of Trade and Industry, Kazan Federal University and the KAMAZ Automaker has been signed in the presence of Rustam Minnikhanov

On 1 October Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov came on a working trip to Naberezhnyye Chelny to take part in the events dedicated to the Day of Machine-building Workers.

Upon his arrival, Rustam Minnikhanov went to the testing grounds of the KAMAZ Automaker designed for testing the newly developed cars steerability and stability, testing brakes and vehicle reliability as well as the electronic control systems, АDАS-systems and robotic vehicles.

At the grounds Minnikhanov was shown the new Shuttle service for public transportation and new KAMAZ models, including an electrobus KAMAZ-6292, AWD bus KAMAZ 62-50 and a Jupiter-30 dump truck, where he personally drove one of the new models.

After that a trilateral agreement on establishment of new type of engineering training and carrying out disruptive research and developments aimed at solving universally important tasks in priority areas of technological development of Russia was signed in the presence of Rustam Minnikhanov at the ground. The document was signed by regional Minister of Trade and Industry Oleg Korobchenko, Rector of Kazan Federal University Lenar Safin and Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin.

Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov was an honorary guest of the event.
