Tatarstan President and Russian Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources have discussed implementation of Ecology national project in the republic

On 23 September at their meeting in the Governmnet house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Kozlov discussed federal projects of Preservation of Unique Water Bodies and Recovery of the Volga, which are being implemented by the Ecology national project in the republic.

They also discussed planned measures to beaching water bodies, planting water-protection forests along rivers in Tatarstan and other important issues.

The Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Ivan Sovetnikov and other officials from the Russian and Tatarstan Ministries of Ecology also took part in the meeting.
