Rustam Minnikhanov arrives to Tehran

On 20 September Tatarstan President visited the largest Iran Khordro automotive Company in Tehran, which was established in 1962 and employs 70 thousand people. The company also develops car engines and produces its own brand passenger cars and cars under the license of Peugeot.
After Rustam Minnikhanov was shown production lines, including press and body lines and varnish-and-paint  and assembly shops, the chief engineer of the plant told him all details of the production, having stressed that all engines are in line with the Euro-5 standard. 
At his meeting with the administration of the Company, Tatarstan President told about industrial potential of the republic in car building industry. He also said that it is very important to interact with Iran manufacturers taking into account the fact that a number of companies, including those in spare parts, have withdrawn from the Russian market. Rustam Minnikhanov also draw attention to the fact that the republic is interesting for Iran partners in the car-building issues as it already has the trained staff and spare parts production.
