Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a round table meeting Golestan-Tatarstan

On 19 September Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working visit to Iran, and   delegation from Tatarstan, comprising Minister of Trade and Industry of the republic Oleg Korobchenko , Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Mazat Zyabbarov, Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova, the Chairman of the Tatarstan State Committee and Deputy Head of Tatarstan Investments Development Agency , took part in a round table meeting “Golestan-Tatarstan” held in the Town of Gorgan of Golestan Province.

Welcoming representatives of business circles of the province, who took part in the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the administration of Iran, of Golestan Province and to the Russian Embassy for organizing the event.

“We highly appreciate cooperation with Iran in the framework of Russia-Iran relations. We have rich historical, economic and cultural ties. In 2022 we noticeably ramped up our cooperation and have already held meetings with heads of a number of provinces”, Tatarstan President stated.

Rustam Minnikhanov elaborated on issues of expanding interaction in such spheres as supplying petrochemical and machine-building products.

Representatives of such Tatarstan agricultural companies as Agrosila, Ratsin and Yelmay Dairy Plant from Vysokaya Gora also took part in the round table.
