On September 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the participants of the All-Russian contest AgroNTI - 2022".
The final stage of the AgroNTI-2022 contest takes place from September 16 to 17 at the Kazan State Agrarian University. The Innovation Promotion Fund, agrarian universities and academies across the country supported the initiative to create a training programme and competition for rural children on the most promising areas in digital agriculture, which are aimed at getting acquainted children with the prospects of working on the land, early career guidance, and training in the latest technologies.
Minnikhanov emphasized that the AgroNTI contributes to the training of qualified personnel for the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex.
The contest is held among the students of 5–10 years of studying in rural schools. Students show their knowledge and practical skills in advanced technologies related to digital agriculture, such as precision farming, robotics, space surveying, meteorology and biotechnology. More than 200 students from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Stavropol region, Saratov, Samara and Perm regions are taking part in the final stage of the contest.
