Rustam Minnikhanov opens a dormitory of the Kazan State Agrarian University after a major repair

On September 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Director General of the Association of Agrarian Universities of the Russian Federation Viktor Berdyshev, Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University Ayrat Valiev and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the opening of the dormitory of the Kazan State Agrarian University after a major repair.

Student house includes 2 comfortable buildings with a total area of more than 9,000 square meters. As many as 800 students of the agricultural university will live in the dormitory, repaired under the 100th anniversary of the Agrarian University. Minnikhanov congratulated the university students on the important event and emphasized that providing students with comfortable living conditions is a priority along with the quality of education.

Tatarstan President said that, being a student of an agricultural university, he also lived in this dormitory.

Minnikhanov added that the republic will continue to actively support agricultural education. Then he visited the renovated facility.
