On September 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM) Alexander Kurenkov visited Fire and Rescue Station №3 and the Crisis Management Centre in Kazan.
In the station, they looked around special equipment and talked to the personnel. The Station ensures the safety of residents of the Moskovsky district and part of the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan, where there are 4 potentially dangerous and critical facilities, 84 socially significant facilities, 15 with mass stay of people and 16 with a night stay. The staff number is 97 people, and 11 pieces of equipment are in service.
Then Minnikhanov and Kurenkov visited the Crisis Management Centre and assessed the training complex for fire drill and physical training and fire and rescue sport competitions.
Athletes of the national team of Tatarstan on the fire and rescue service made an exhibition performance on climbing the assault staircase in the window of the 4th floor of the training tower.
