Tatarstan President in Nizhnekamsk: Improving quality of medical services is very important

On 1 September opening a new medical emergency center of Nizhnekamsk Central Regional Hospital, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that development of the healthcare infrastructure is one of the key elements of quality of life of the population.

“Today we have opened two wonderful schools and a kindergarten and now we will visit the new medical facility which will substantially raise quality and accessibility of medical help for residents of the city. Nizhnekamsk is developing and its attractiveness for work and live is growing. It is the capital of petro chemistry and the largest industrial center of our country,” Tatarstan President said and thanked the Tatneft Oil Company for its support in implementation of the project. 

After the opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov looked round facilities of the new medical center, including an admittance and diagnostic department with a shock unit, X-ray surgery and diagnostic units. 

Tatarstan President was informed that Nizhnekamsk Central Regional multi-profile Hospital is the only hospital in Nizhnekamsk and the municipal region providing specialized medical help to adult population of more than 214 000 people.
