Tatarstan President and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education have visited the Institute of the Kazan Federal University in Naberezhnyye Chelny

On 26 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, visited the Institute of the Kazan Federal University in Naberezhnyye Chelny, the history of which started 1980 when two technical departments were established to train specialists for the KAMAZ Automaker. 

Tatarstan President and Russian Minister got acquainted with the Engineering Center of the Institute and visited research labs organized with industrial partners such as the KAMAZ, Ford Sollers, Haier and others. 

This year the Institute successfully won the competition for establishment and development of an advanced engineering school “Cyber Auto Tech” together with its industrial partner the KAMAZ Automaker and in the next three years is planning to launch four new educational programmes for advanced training of engineers for the Company.

The Director of the Institute Makhmut Ganiyev also informed the guests about the concept of the school campus development which will include a new laboratory facility and two hostels.
