Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov have visited the Kazan Military Hospital

On 24 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov visited the Kazan Military Hospital, the cornerstone of which was laid with the participation of the Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu on 21 August of 2021.

They assessed readiness of the building for 150 beds to be commissioned and were shown the set of facilities of the hospital including diagnostics block with 120 wards, a day patient department, clinical-diagnostic lab with microbiology group and the admission, dental, radiation, diagnostics and physiological departments.

The hospital was built taking into consideration possibility of emergency specialized medical help to victims of various disasters and local military conflicts and it will treat wounded delivered by aircraft as it is integrated into a system of Emergency Medicine Service of eliminating consequences of emergencies.
