General Director of “Russian venture company” Jsc Aleksey Korobov: “Tatarstan readiness for realization of projects in venture investment industry is high enough”.

“Russian venture company” Jsc and Tatarstan Government signed today the agreement about cooperation and joint work in creation of venture investment industry and development of innovative branches of economics.

“Russian venture company” was presented by general director Aleksey Korobov, Tatarstan was presented by Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.
The purpose of agreement is cooperation in creation and development of own venture investment industry, innovative branches of economics, provision of interaction in this sphere with other regions of Russian Federation.

Parties agreed to work out the project of Joint activity bases of venture investment industry development in Tatarstan till 2012 up to 2020 in perspective.
Tatarstan government entrusted State non-commercial organization “Investment venture fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” with coordination and initiation of events on creation of infrastructure of innovative projects venture financing.

Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out that serious infrastructure for realization of innovative ideas and projects has been already created in Tatarstan. He also added that definite things have been done in development of innovative economics. If we combine efforts with federal center we’ll get the necessary effect. Republic is gradually entering Russian market.
Director of “Russian venture company” Jsc Aleksey Korobov noted that Tatarstan readiness for realization of projects in venture investment industry is high enough. Republic has new modern ideas in realization of some projects (technoparks). “In fact, for realization of innovative economics it’s necessary to have support of all structures-federal and regional”, - Aleksey Korobov said. Such interaction will give possibility to develop innovative economics. Mr. Korobov underlined that the refusal from raw-material economy and participation in innovative process are urgent for Russia today.

Director of “Russian venture company” said to journalists that the mentioned agreement was concluded with 6 Russian regions but the degree of readiness is different. Tatarstan is more prepared for realization of combined projects with “Russian venture company”.

According to Aleksey Korobov people will see concrete examples of regional cooperation with “Russian venture company” in the end of 2008.
